The plan provides coverage to non-US citizens who reside outside the USA and are traveling outside of their home country to visit solely the U.S., or U.S. and other countries worldwide. Coverage can be purchased for a minimum of 5 days up to 364 days. For ages 1 year to 89 years old. The plan offers policy maximums from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and a wide choice of deductibles ranging from $0 to $5,000. In the U.S. after the deductible is satisfied, the plan pays up to 100% of eligible medical expenses. The plan offers coverage for sudden and acute onset of pre-existing conditions for individuals below 70 years of age. The plan provides coverage for medical expenses, emergency medical and political evacuation, repatriation of remains, trip interruption, Lost baggage, and accidental death & dismemberment. It also offers a wellness visit benefit for a $125 Co-pay. The plan uses the First Health PPO network, a subsidiary of Aetna Insurance. The plan offers optional return to home country coverage, optional sports activity coverage, and AD&D optional benefit upgrade. Safe Travels USA Comprehensive Insurance covers COVID-19 treatment just like any other new medical condition that occurs after the effective date of the policy. Yes, if you initially purchase the plan for more than five days, you can extend it. You must request the extension at least two days before the policy expires.

To buy the plan, you will need the names, dates of birth, and passport numbers of the visitors, their home country address, and a valid credit card.

The Safe Travels USA Comprehensive Plan is available for any non-US citizen or resident, including green card holders, who are visiting the USA for a short period. It is not available for US citizens or long-term visa holders who are subject to US taxes.

Yes, you can cancel the Safe Travels USA Comprehensive Plan and receive a refund if you need to leave earlier than planned. Please note the following conditions: A written request is required for cancellation. If you cancel before the start date, you will receive a full refund. After the policy begins, a refund is only available if you have not visited a doctor or provider while the policy was active. You can receive a refund for any unused full months. A $25 cancellation fee will apply. No refund will be issued if there is an active claim on file.

You can print your ID card directly from your confirmation email, which serves as proof of insurance. No physical card will be mailed to your home country.
