The minimum age for coverage is 14 days old and up to 89 years old. It is available for policy maximums from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and various deductibles ranging from $0 to $5,000. after the deductible is satisfied the plan pays 90% of the first $2,500 eligible medical expenses then 100% up to the policy maximum. It offers coverage for unexpected recurrence of a pre-existing condition. The plan provides medical benefits such as, dental treatment, cardiac condition, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation of remains, accidental death and dismemberment. It also offers optional coverage like Return to home country and sports activity coverage. The plan covers COVID-19 like any other eligible medical condition. The plan is not designed to cover US residents and citizens. It is available for individuals aged up to 89 years. The PPO provider for Safe Travels USA Insurance is the First Health Network. This network consists of independent organizations recognized by major hospitals, doctors, and health facilities. While out-of-network expenses are also covered, we recommend visiting a provider within this PPO network for negotiated rates. You can search for a doctor or hospital in the Provider Directory.

The Safe Travels USA Plan is available to any non-US citizen or resident, including green card holders, who are visiting the USA for a short duration. It is not available for US citizens or long-term visa holders who are subject to US taxes.

Yes, you can cancel the policy. A full refund is available if you cancel before the start date. After the start date, a refund is only possible if you haven't visited a doctor and there are no claims on file. In this case, a prorated refund for the unused days will be issued, minus a $25 cancellation fee.

Yes, the Safe Travels USA Insurance provides coverage for flights from your home country to the U.S. and back. This coverage is applicable only if the flight dates fall within the effective dates of the plan. Make sure to select the start date when the insured departs the home country (U.S. CST) and the end date for when they return home (CST).

The printed receipt from your online purchase serves as proof of insurance and can be used as your ID card. Additionally, you will receive an email with an ID card that you can print for use at a doctor or hospital. If you choose, you can request supplemental information and an ID card to be mailed to you by selecting yes during the online application process. Your insurance package should arrive at your mailing address within 5-10 business days of purchase.
